Solid Oak Wood Roll Top Executive Desk 54x24x44.5 BW Home Office Organizer Desk

Absolutely wonderful oasis and a pleasure to sit at this vintage desk. I'm a software developer by trade, working with cutting edge cloud technology. This is my great departure from that to study and recharge. I like the 24" inch depth which keeps it from overwhelming the room. I did make one modification. I lowered the knee-hole shelf by about 1.5" to accommodate for larger books. It still does not interfere with my legs when seated at the desk. Jane at Country Marketplace was great and worked with me to make sure delivery and setup was smooth. Installation was just a matter of putting the pedestals, center drawer, and top together. Very easy. It's best to just call Jane if you have questions - very knowledgeable gal.

Jane provided a professional, organized, and courteous shopping experience when I purchased my solid oak roll top desk June 2020. I hesitated to make such a large purchase via the internet. Selecting a piece of furniture using only website photos seemed risky not to mention casting my Ohio credit card out into cyberspace to an unfamiliar Massachusetts merchant.

Mom and I waited for the 54” Executive Roll-Top Desk delivery with much apprehension because it went against our better judgment to purchase an expensive item online without seeing it in person. Jane went above and beyond, taking photos of the desk in the store and e-mailing them. It was due to Jane’s listening, sound advice and product knowledge that we took the plunge. And boy, are we glad we did! Photos DO NOT capture the quality and beauty of the craftsmanship and wood that REALLY IS a “rich dark cherry”. I recently received my roll top desk and I was very happy with the solid construction (no particle board).It's a handsome piece of furniture and well thought out in it's design with innovative ways to compartmentalize items in the desk and ample storage space for a 54" piece. I would highly recommend this desk.
